What You Will Achieve

By the end of this qualification students will be able to:

RTO requirements for International students

International students must meet certain English language requirements for admission into Alice Springs College of Australia.

International students applying for this course either off-shore or on-shore will require:

  • Be 18 years or over.
  • Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
  • Be competent in written and spoken English with an IELTS Score of no less than 5.5 or an equivalent language test score. Results older than two years are not acceptable.
  • Participate in a suitability interview prior to enrolment and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to undertake this qualification, with the recommendation being made by the interviewer to the CEO and/or nominee who will make the final decision.
  • Undertake a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment relevant to your course. This is to identify whether you need additional support to complete your course successfully.

*Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted.  Students are required to provide their results so that it can be confirmed they are equivalent to IELTS 5.5.

The test must have been taken no more than two years* before you apply to study at Alice Springs College of Australia.*The date when Alice Springs College of Australia receives the signed written agreement (either through Email or in hand)
