RTO Requirements for International Students
Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements specified in the training package for this qualification. However, students are expected to:
- Be at least 18 years of age at course commencement
- Have completed Year 12 or equivalent (recommended)
- Demonstrate adequate Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to meet course requirements
- Meet English proficiency requirements (e.g. IELTS 6.0 overall or equivalent) for international students
- Complete a Pre-Training Review and LLN assessment
- Hold or be eligible to obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- Be physically capable of performing manual handling tasks and working with tools and materials
- Have access to required personal protective equipment (PPE)
