The CPC31020 – Certificate III in Solid Plastering qualification provides students with the skills and knowledge required to work as a solid plasterer in the residential and commercial building construction industry. RTO Requirements for International Students
Pre-Requisites: The training package does not mandate formal prerequisites for CPC31020. However, students are expected to:
- Be at least 18 years of age at course commencement
- Possess adequate Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to meet course requirements
- Demonstrate English proficiency (e.g., IELTS 6.0 overall or equivalent) where applicable for international students
- Hold or be eligible to obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- Complete a pre-training review / LLN assessment to determine support needs
- Have access to necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and physical capacity for trade-related tasks such as manual handling and tool use (provider-specific requirement)
Note: Students may require completing CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card) before commencing practical training; this is aligned with Safe Work Australia requirements.
